-2x+7 = -23 ---(second equation)
-2x = -23-7
x = 30/2
x = 15
Now, Substitute the value of x in first equation,
15 + 3y = 1
3y = 1 - 15
y = -14/3
In short, Final Answers are: x = 15 & y = -14/3
