Answer: At the first course of jack's treatment at the hospital we was used to alcoholism and he wanted to drink whiskey so badly, then the next week he planned to escape and then he losted hope,then when he saw the squirrels as he fed them he started to get his life back together.The lesson that jack learns is that living life means everything

Explanation:jack was addicted to alcohalism he got better because of the squirrels that he fed every day
