If mike paints 1/3 of the living room on Friday and his mother paints 1/2 of the unpainted part of the room on Saturday. What fraction of the room has been painted by the end of the day saturday

I believe it is 5/6 because you have to find a common denominator. 1/3 • 2 = 2/6 and then 1/2 • 3 = 3/6
2/6 + 3/6 = 5/6 of the room has been painted
