The numbers are: 8 & 64

You can figure this out with logic reasoning. Think:

5^2 + 5 = 72?
25 + 5 = 72?
30 = 72 --> not true

So go a little higher:
midway of 5 & 10

8^2 + 8 = 72?
64 + 8 = 72?
72 = 72 --> is true
